Who are ENUF?

The ENUF website is owned and maintained by academic researchers from King’s College London and Sheffield University. It is a resource for researchers, practitioners, civil society organisations, and policymakers working on UK household food insecurity and provides the opportunity for interested users to register their detail with us for the purposes of communication, collaboration and networking.

What type of information do we collect?

If you sign up to receive our newsletter, Mailchimp collects your contact information. See their privacy policy here.

For visitors to the website, we may also collect information via Google analytics on IP address, and information regarding what pages are accessed and when.

How is this information used?

Signing up to our ENUF mailing list on Mailchimp means that we will send you an ENUF newsletter to the email address you give us. These will be sent to you six times a year at most. You can update your subscription preferences with Mailchimp, including removing yourself from the mailing list by using the links in the footer of the newsletter.

Who has access to your information?

We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.

We will not share any of your personal data with any third party.

Your choices

You have a choice about whether or not you wish to receive information from us. If you do not want to receive the ENUF newsletter then you can unsubscribe via Mailchimp here.

We will not contact you for marketing purposes.

Security precautions

When you give us personal information, we take steps to ensure that it is stored securely. Your information is stored on our web server which is served only via SSL. When you are on a secure page, a lock icon will appear in the browser’s address bar. We make our best effort to ensure your information is secure on our systems. Where we have given (or you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our website, you are responsible for keeping it confidential. We ask that you do not share your password with anyone.

Cookie usage

The ENUF website uses  ‘cookies’ – small files containing information sent by an organisation to your computer and stored on your hard drive to allow the website to recognise you when you visit. They collect statistical data about your browsing actions and patterns and do not identify you as an individual. In the main we use these to help us to monitor our website usage and, ultimately, improve our website.

It is possible to switch off cookies by setting your browser preferences. Although unlikely, turning off cookies may result in a loss of functionality when using our website.

Our website may contain links to other websites run by other organisations. This privacy policy applies only to our website. Please read the privacy statements of the other websites you visit. We cannot be responsible for the privacy policies and practices of other sites even when accessed via links from our website.

Additionally, if you visited our website via a link from a third party site, we cannot be responsible for the privacy policies and practices of the owners and operators of that third party site and recommend that you check their privacy policy.
