ENUF Briefing: What is food charity in Europe?

This research brief is the first in a series which set out key findings from the recently published book The Rise of Food Charity in Europe. This first brief sets out what food charity looks like across Europe. Drawing on data from seven case study countries of Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Slovenia and the UK, this briefing addresses the questions: what is food charity in Europe and what are its key characteristics?
